Heat ends as Chinese calendar Chushu walks on stage
At 22:55 today (Aug. 22) we celebrate the second solar term of autumn, namely the End of Heat (Chushu).
The End of Heat sends cooling messages to those who endured subject to heat and high humidity, and helps pacify their mind and hearts. The temperature begins to drop, and the wind becomes mellow and soothing.
It is a pleasant time to harvest, for farmers to reap what they have sown and fishermen to net the bounty of the sea, and also, for flying creatures to prey.
As the summer goes away and autumn comes to an end. May you gain in this autumn and continue to move forward.
