
The Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2025 will be held on February 9 next year, with a quota of about 74,000 entries. Online registration will be accepted in phases for each group of runners.
According to the official website, a prize of HK$1,000 will be awarded to male and female permanent residents of Hong Kong who finish the race within three hours, three hours, and 30 minutes, respectively.
The Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon said it will start accepting applications for the public ballot, the disabled entry quota, and the wheelchair race at 10:00 a.m. today (Aug. 21).
The public ballot will be conducted on an individual and team basis, and the deadline for application will be until 7:00 p.m. on August 30. The results of the first round of the ballot will be announced at 2:00 p.m. on September 4 through emails, SMS, and the application system, with payment to be made online by 11:59 p.m. on September 10 for those who are successful in the ballot. The second round of results will be announced on 13 September at 2:00 p.m. Successful applicants must make payment online before 11:59 p.m. on September 19.
