Teenager opens emergency door of MTR train without authorization at Kowloon Bay Station
At 1:10 a.m. today (Aug. 18), a male passenger suddenly opened the emergency exit door and driver's door of a train on the MTR Kwun Tong Line from Whampoa to Tiu Keng Leng and fled without a trace.
The case was reported to the police by MTR staff and passengers. After investigation, the police believe that a teenager aged between 16 and 18 was involved in the incident.
The police classified the case as a violation of the Mass Transit Railway By-laws, and no arrests have been made for now.
