Chinese table tennis players to participate in WTT Champions Macao 2024
The World Table Tennis (WTT) Champions Macao 2024 will be held from Sept. 9 to 15 at the Macao East Asian Games Dome. China's national table tennis team announced the list of players to participate in the events: Wang Chuqin, Fan Zhendong, Liang Jingkun and Ma Long will compete in Men's Singles; Sun Yingsha, Chen Meng, Wang Manyu and Wang Yidi will compete in Women's Singles.
There are only singles events in WTT Champions, offering 1,000 points to champions. A total of 64 players will participate, with a maximum of 4 players sent by each association.
China's table tennis team made great achievements in the past nine WTT Champions, with nine champions in Women's Singles and seven in Men's Singles from China's national table tennis team.
It is confirmed that 60 players have been qualified to participate, but the participation of Lin Gaoyuan and Chen Xingtong is left to be determined, according to the International Table Tennis Federation.
