Live-streamed attack: 18-year-old influenced by video games stabs five
According to foreign media reports, the local time on Aug. 12, a masked man wearing a helmet and a bullet-proof vest outside a mosque in northwestern Turkey stabbed at least five people and was subsequently arrested by the police; it is not yet clear his motive for murder.
According to reports, the murderer, who was 18 years old and dressed like a video game character, was broadcasting the attack live on the internet. It was reported that he was "influenced by war games."
