
Chinese athlete Wu Yanni clocked 12.98 seconds and finished fourth in the group in the Women's 100m Hurdles Repechage of the Paris Olympics, failing to advance to the semi-final.
She posted on Weibo, "My first Olympic trip is over. My expected goals have not been achieved although I yield the best result among Chinese athletes in the Women's 100m Hurdles of the Olympics. However, this is just a starting point for me. My regrets and gains in Paris will encourage me to work hard for the next four years. I will devote myself to achieving my goals. Thank you! I love you all! See you at the next race!"
