Paris Olympics: HK team to compete in table tennis, swimming, fencing
At the Paris Olympics, Hong Kong athletes will continue to compete in table tennis, swimming and fencing on Monday (July 29).
Tokyo Olympic gold winner Edgar Cheung will defend his title in the men's individual fencing event.
In the women's 200-meter freestyle, Hong Kong's Siobhan Bernadette Haughey will compete for a medal in the final. Cindy Cheung will compete in the women's 100m backstroke preliminary round.
In Table Tennis, the mixed doubles team of Wong Chun-ting and Doo Hoi-kem will fight for the final in the quarter-finals, while Wong Chun-ting and Zhu Chengzhu will compete in the men's and women's singles rounds of 64 respectively.
Happy Lo will play in the women's badminton singles, while Jordan Tang/Tse Ying-suet will continue to fight for their place in the mixed doubles.
Cheng Ching-yin and Ma Kwan-ching will compete in the iQFOiL men's and women's events respectively.
