CE meets foreign minister of Ukraine in HK

The spirit of the rule of law is highly respected in Hong Kong, Chief Executive John Lee said to Dmytro Kuleba, the visiting foreign minister of Ukraine.

During a Wednesday meeting, the SAR leader spoke about the territory's current economic situation, business opportunities and market potential, according to the Chief Executive Office.

Lee also stressed that the SAR government would adopt necessary measures to ensure the safety of people in Hong Kong, adding that all its actions abide strictly with local laws.

Kuleba traveled to Hong Kong following more than three hours of talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Guangzhou on Wednesday (July 24).
