Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge to be partially closed from July 28
Temporary traffic control will be implemented on some bridge roads from Hong Kong to Zhuhai and Macao from July 28 to 29, according to the official WeChat account of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
According to the announcement, Zhuhai and Hong Kong will conduct a joint emergency rescue drill. Temporary traffic control will be implemented on certain sections of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge to ensure the smooth progress of the drill.
The control period will be from 21:30 on July 28 (Sunday) to 18:00 on July 29 (Monday). During this period, the middle and right lanes of the section from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge San Shek Wan turning point to the East Artificial Island (in Hong Kong to Zhuhai and Macao direction) will be temporarily closed, with only the left lane remaining open. The side roads to and from the San Shek Wan turning point will also be temporarily closed.
The announcement reminds drivers to maintain a safe distance, control their speed, drive cautiously, pay attention to electronic road information boards and traffic signs, and cooperate with on-site staff instructions.
