This year, for the first time, the event will feature the "Five-Senses Marathon," offering traditional village dishes like poon choi and rice cakes along the route.

The entire marathon route will include the Tseung Kwan O Cross Bay Link and the Tseung Kwan O-Lam Tin Tunnel. Runners will then pass through the Eastern Harbour Crossing, Tseung Kwan O Cross Bay Link, and the Tseung Kwan O-Lam Tin Tunnel, moving onto the Kwun Tong Bypass and passing through Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay. The race will go through the Kai Tak Tunnel and finish at San Shan Road in To Kwa Wan.

The half marathon will also start from the Island Eastern Corridor, passing through the Eastern Harbour Crossing and along the Kwun Tong Bypass to the Kai Tak Tunnel, ending at San Shan Road in To Kwa Wan. The 10-kilometer race will start from the Tseung Kwan O-Lam Tin Highway, running across the Tseung Kwan O Cross Bay Link into the Tseung Kwan O-Lam Tin Tunnel, passing Cha Kwo Ling and the Kwun Tong Bypass, and finishing at Kwun Tong Promenade.

The organizers highlighted that the event will incorporate the "Five-Senses Marathon," providing a new running experience with visual, auditory, olfactory, gustatory, and tactile enjoyment along the route. For the first time, traditional village foods such as poon choi and rice cakes will be available at Cha Kwo Ling Park and refreshment stations to promote local culture.

Additionally, the organizers mentioned that star runners from Mainland China and other Asian regions will be invited.

The event will also feature a family category in the Asian Youth 10K for the first time, encouraging young people to participate in long-distance running. Same-day baggage storage services will also be provided.
