Citybus' 45th anniversary celebration: Open-top sightseeing bus leads customers to 'Historic Party'
The 1980's was the era of rapid development, for both Citybus and Hong Kong. The eye-catching yellow bus livery was the trendy and edgy symbol, quacking becoming a key component of the urban landscape. To celebrate the 45th anniversary of Citybus, the special route H1C "Historic Party" in Birthday month is launched, bringing citizens and tourists back to the roaring 80's through the footprint of Citybus in the past 45 years, and reminiscing about the old days of Hong Kong, also celebrating and enjoying with the public!
"Historic Party" open-top sightseeing bus Route H1C special departure will depart at a specific time between 12 July and 11 August. Special departures H1C from Central will travel via the Southern District, one of the significant places in Citybus' story. It will pass through 45th anniversary themed wall at Wah Fu (South) Bus Terminus, as well as the Hill Road Flyover, which has been widely publicized on social media platforms that open-top bus shuttling between the high-rise buildings. The open-top bus will head to Tsim Sha Tsui through the highway afterwards, allowing customers to enjoy the breeze and bustling view across Victoria Harbour on board. Special departures from Tsim Sha Tsui will go to Sheung Wan and Sai Ying Pun areas, and customers can catch up as many happy memories as they have along the way on the Citybus.
