In Johor, Malaysia, on Sunday (July 7), Hong Kong won four bronze and one silver at the Asian Squash Doubles Championship.

The SAR's Tong Tsz-wing and Tang Ming-hong took home the silver medal in the mixed-doubles final.

The duo faced third-seeded Joshana Chinappa and Abhay Singh of India in the final, but ultimately fell short 8-11, 11-10, 5-11 despite fighting back from a game down.

Cheng Nga-ching and Matthew Lai took bronze in the same event.

There were also bronze medals for both Tomato Ho and Fung Ching-hei, as well as Toby Tse and Kirstie Wong in the women's doubles event. Alex Lau and Leo Chung claimed bronze in the men's doubles.

Meanwhile, Henry Leung and Andes Ling lost out 1-2 (11-10, 7-11, 1-11) to home crowd favourites Hafiz Zhafri and Duncan Lee of Malaysia in the 5/6 position match, finishing the tournament in sixth place.
