Watch This | Sherman Kung: Building icon is biggest challenge in construction process
M+ is hosting a guided tour of the Bank of China (BOC) Tower today (June 27), which will be led by Li Chung (Sandi) Pei. The tour is also led by the partner and founder of PEI Architects, Curator, Design and Architecture at M+, Shirley Surya, and architect responsible for the Bank of China Tower, Sherman Kung.
Our DotDotNews reporter asked Sherman Kung about the biggest challenge in building the BOC Tower. "I know how to build on obscure sites and become an icon of Hong Kong. I think it is very difficult," he said.
Our reporter also asked about the feng shui fight over the building of the BOC Tower and the HSBC Tower, which Kung said was a rumor.
