Inaugural flight launches direct Harbin-Hong Kong route, cutting travel time to around 5h
According to information obtained by the reporter from the China Southern Airlines Heilongjiang branch, on June 2nd, Heilongjiang province's first regular direct passenger flight route from Harbin to Hong Kong was inaugurated. The flight time from Harbin to Hong Kong has now been reduced to just over 5 hours.
The inaugural flight carried 131 passengers, with an occupancy rate of 80%. The flight was operated by China Southern Airlines, with flight number CZ6047 departing Harbin at 07:35 and arriving in Hong Kong at 13:00. The return flight, CZ6048, departs Hong Kong at 14:15 and arrives in Harbin at 19:15. This round-trip flight will be operated twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.
This is the only direct flight route from Heilongjiang province to Hong Kong, significantly reducing the time needed for transit procedures.
