Watch This | Hong Kong Korean Chamber of Commerce gives a hand to local charity with first donation in history

Recently, the Hong Kong Korean Chamber of Commerce held a remarkable donation event, making its first-ever contribution to the Hong Kong Yan Chai Hospital, providing significant support to charitable causes in Hong Kong.

Established in 1976, the Hong Kong Korean Chamber of Commerce is an influential business association in Hong Kong. Over the years, the chamber has supported the Korean community in Hong Kong and organized various sports competitions and activities. However, this donation event marks the chamber's first focus on local charitable organizations in Hong Kong.

Having been serving the citizens of Hong Kong since 1973, Yan Chai Hospital has grown from a regional hospital to a diversified charitable institution and has become one of Hong Kong's six major philanthropic organizations. The Korean Chamber's donation aims to assist Yan Chai Hospital in providing more support to students from single-parent families, enhancing their learning experiences and development opportunities.

Charles Shin, the President of the Hong Kong Korean Chamber of Commerce, expressed the significance of this donation for both their chamber and Yan Chai Hospital. He hopes that this contribution will provide more assistance and opportunities to students from single-parent families, and he looks forward to more similar donation events in the future.

This donation event demonstrates the social responsibility of the Hong Kong Korean Chamber of Commerce and embodies the importance of cross-cultural cooperation and charitable endeavors. This donation will positively impact Hong Kong society and provide more significant support and hope for students from single-parent families.
