Hainan Province, China's beautiful tropical island, often stands at the top of the list for many holidaymakers.
The Hainan seaside city of Boao has benefited from increased tourism prospects in recent years because to the annual summit of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA). It's only an hour's journey from there to the lovely farming community that's the destination of this episode.
In the Hainan Province of south China, Beireng Village is situated in the municipality of Jiaji, Qionghai City.
Before the growth of the picturesque countryside assisted the town in modernizing its general infrastructure and drawing tourists, Beireng town was one of many little-known rural Chinese communities. The village never lost its distinctive features, nonetheless, nor its cultural aspects despite the improvements.
The village became well-known in 2015 at the BFA when Peng Liyuan, the first lady of China, welcomed a number of foreign visitors to the village so they could experience the warmth and rural charm of the area. Every year since then, Beireng Village has seen an increase in the number of visitors.
Today, Beireng Village is a popular destination for tourists due to its picturesque rural setting and charming farmhouses. Since areca catechu and rubber trees are important commercial crops for the community, they are widely distributed. Discovering the rural roads allows tourists to get a peek of the old way of life.
Some of the neighboring attractions that are worth seeing are the Guantang Hot Spring Resort, the Wanquan River, and the Baishiling Scenic Area. These locations are ideal for get-togethers with loved ones.
To reach there, fly to Qionghai Bo'ao Airport and drive around 20 minutes to Beireng Village.
