Haughey earns bronze in 100-meter breaststroke at World Championships in Doha
Hong Kong's Siobhan Haughey took bronze as Mainland's Tang Qianting won the 100-meter breaststroke title at the World Championships in Doha on Tuesday (Feb. 13).
Tang, 19, took the title in 1:05.27, with Dutchwoman Tes Schouten coming through for silver.
"I entered this for fun," said freestyle specialist Haughey, who earlier qualified second for Wednesday's (Feb. 14) 200m freestyle final.
Siobhan Haughey will compete in the final tomorrow morning (Feb. 15) and try to become the first long course world champion.
