DC Election | District Councils can assist govt in proper management of districts, Leung Chun-ying says

Leung Chun-ying, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and former Chief Executive of HKSAR, voted at a polling station during the Election in the morning and appealed to electors to vote enthusiastically.

Leung said that according to the Basic Law and relevant laws, District Councils (DCs) can assist the government in district management.

"A good district management can make travel easier, public hygiene better, social order better and public transportation more convenient," he noted.
