Summer special: M+ Museum offers discount for visitors from July 29

The M+ Museum on Wednesday (July 5) announced a summer special discount for general admission tickets from July 29 to September 30 this year. (M+ Muesum)

The M+ Museum on Wednesday (July 5) announced a summer special discount for general admission tickets from July 29 to September 30 this year.

The summer special discount offers General Admission tickets at a reduced price of HK$90, down from the original price of HK$120. Concession tickets, available to full-time students, children ages 7 to 11, senior citizens ages 60 or above, persons with disabilities and their companions, and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients, will be available for HK$45, down from the original price of HK$60.

Visitors with General Admission tickets can access galleries on B2 and 2F (excluding Special Exhibition), where two popular large-scale works by Yayoi Kusama are on display, including Dots Obsession—Aspiring to Heaven's Love (2022) and site-specific installation Death of Nerves (2022) commissioned by M+. Additionally, two large sculptures, Pumpkin (2022), remain available for public viewing at the Main Hall on Ground Floor free of charge. Access to the Mediatheque, the Grand Stair (except for ticketed events), B1, and the Roof Garden also remains free.

The new Special Exhibition Madame Song: Pioneering Art and Fashion in China will open to the public on 29th July, 2023, with a standard ticket price of HK$140 and a concession ticket price of HK$70. The Special Exhibition tickets include access to all M+ galleries.

Visitors who have purchased General Admission tickets at the summer special discount price only need to pay an additional HK$50 on-site to visit the Special Exhibition Madame Song: Pioneering Art and Fashion in China. Visitors who purchase concession tickets at the discount price will only need to pay an additional HK$25 for the Special Exhibition.

M+ tickets will be available for online purchase from Thursday, 6th July 2023, via the M+ website, West Kowloon Cultural District website, West Kowloon Cultural District App, Cityline, China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Limited, Fliggy, Klook, KKday, and Trip.com.
