Hongkongers say goodbye to two rubber ducks
On Sunday (June 19), the renowned pair of 18-meter rubber ducks waved farewell to Hongkongers as the popular public art display featuring the yellow giants ended.
Despite the rain, thousands of city dwellers flocked to the Admiralty and Tsim Sha Tsui promenade to take a last sight or photograph of Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman's works.
On Father's Day, one of the ducks visited Tsim Sha Tsui, stopping at several places to meet admirers on the Kowloon waterfront before rejoining its companion near Tamar Park in Admiralty. The show was scheduled to close on Sunday.
