Chief Executive, John Lee Ka-chiu, said in a post on a social media platform today (May 27) that with the full reopening of the boundary between Hong Kong and mainland China, the exchange of people and economic activities between the two places has become more frequent and closer. All sectors of the community can enjoy the "one-hour living circle" in the Greater Bay Area, which better promotes the quality development of the Greater Bay Area. He is confident that more Hong Kong businesses will explore the Mainland market in the Greater Bay Area in the future and explore the unlimited business opportunities there.

Lee said he had attended the "Hong Kong-Guangdong Cooperation Week" in Guangzhou and Shenzhen in the past week. He thanked the governments and authorities of the Mainland for their support in organising a series of activities with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council to promote Hong Kong's services and products in various cities in Guangdong Province, and encouraging Guangdong enterprises to invest in Hong Kong or use Hong Kong as a platform to "go global" and expand overseas markets.
