Exclusive | Power of resilience: Mainland young artist fulfills dancing dream in HK amid pandemic
Christina Huang Danyang, a girl from the School of Dance of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, has fallen in love with dance since she was 3 years old when the seed of dance has been planted in the girl's heart. At the age of 12, she became a professional dancer. For her, dance has become an integral part of her life as she dreams of becoming a professional dancer. In 2019, Huang came to HK to further her studies and continued her passion with a full scholarship awarded by the Jockey Club.
During the epidemic outbreak, Huang could not have rehearsals in the dance studio. However, she believed that limitations could be turned into infinity. In an online collaboration with her friend, the young artist broadened her horizons and transcended herself with a marvelous single dance.
What are Huang's thoughts after experiencing so many events? How did dance and culture touch her heart? How did she overcome the difficulties and obstacles during the epidemic outbreak? Watch the video for more details.
