Aaron Kwok's mansion in Tai Hang Road burgled
A suspected serial burglary took place at Tai Hang Road in Happy Valley early this morning (July 11), with one of the units burgled being the apartment of artist Aaron Kwok.
It is reported that the police received a report at 5:35 am that the door of a flat on the first floor of Carrie Garden, 345 Tai Hang Road, was left unlocked and the window was open, suspected to have been burgled by a thief.
The police officers arrived at the scene to investigate and initially suspected that the burglars climbed into the first floor along the drainage and infiltrated through the window to commit the crime.
According to sources, Aaron Kwok originally lived on the top floor of the building, but was temporarily living on the first floor due to renovation. After sneaking into his neighbor's premises, the thief then allegedly burgled the two other flats. After being discovered by Aaron Kwok's domestic helper, the thief fled along a drainage channel.
It is understood that no damage was done to the flat where Aaron Kwok lives. Police are investigating the incident and no arrests have been made so far.
