EyE on U | Pacific Coffee CEO: From GBA entrepreneurship program to Art Café, we're keen on giving back to society

As an international financial, shipping and trading center, Hong Kong is a bridge for international exchanges and a fertile ground for foreign investment. The National Security Law has been in force for two years, which has not caused foreign investment to leave HK, and instead more and more companies are setting their headquarters in this city.

Being HK citizens, we are able to enjoy a wide variety of products from different countries and brands, including coffee. As a daily necessity, coffee is very popular for office workers. Among the many coffee brands, Pacific Coffee is definitely a familiar name to local consumers.

Pacific Coffee was founded in 1992 in HK and it officially entered the mainland China market in 2011. In this episode, we are honored to invite Mr. Jonathan Somerville, Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Coffee to attend the show.

In recent years, more and more HK businessmen have been heading north to seek new development opportunities and space in the Greater Bay Area. Pacific Coffee has earlier jointly launched the "Beyond Dreams" GBA Coffee Entrepreneurship Training Program with the HK College of Technology (HKCT) to promote local youths to start their own business in the GBA, which has been well-received by participants.

What factors contribute to Pacific Coffee's success and how does the coffeehouse chain position itself in the HK market? What does Mr. Somerville think of the development prospects of the GBA? Watch the video now to find out the answers.
