Coronavirus | HK sees 1,650 new infections, including 128 imported cases
Hong Kong on Thursday (June 23) reported 1,650 new COVID-19 infections, including 1,522 local cases and 128 imported ones. The local cases included 559 PCR test-confirmed cases and 963 self-declared positive cases.
Speaking at a press conference this afternoon, Dr. Chuang Shuk-kwan said that 172 more positive cases have been reported by 155 schools, including 135 students and 37 school staff members.
Meanwhile, one more COVID-related death has been recorded for the past day. A total of 9,185 COVID patients have passed away during the latest outbreak.
