Two of Next Digital Ltd.'s companies, Next Media Management Services Ltd. and Paramount Printing Ltd., have been petitioned for liquidation by their creditors in the High Court on Wednesday (June 8).
The petitioners in the two cases are Wong Wai-ho and Choi Chak-chun. Both petitioners have reported their addresses as public housing units and are represented by the Legal Aid Department. Wong sought the winding up of Next Media Management Services Ltd. and Choi, Paramount Printing Group Ltd.
According to sources, Next Media Management Services Ltd. was sued in the High Court last year by various companies, including a printer manufacturer, Ricoh Hong Kong Ltd., which filed a claim for over HK$390,000 in December 2021, and a small claims tribunal for over HK$60,000 of unpaid transportation fees in December 2021 by Able Force Freight Ltd.
