Luo Yuan, a post-90s illustrator from Shenzhen, created a series of 1,000 cartoon characters, each holding a star that glows in the dark. The characters were created based on the stories he collected from netizens, ranging from an autistic kid, a cancer patient to a borderland soldier. It took more than half a year for Yuan to complete the series of illustrations, which warms the hearts of countless people.
