HKMA: Exchange Fund foreign assets drop HK$17 bn in Sept
The Exchange Fund's foreign assets decreased HK$17 billion to HK$4.0447 trillion in September, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced on Wednesday (Oct. 13).
The monetary base amounted to HK$2.1178 trillion, while claims on the private sector in Hong Kong amounted to HK$230.5 billion, it said.
