HK names flag bearers in Paralympics opening ceremony
Hong Kong's flag bearers in the Tokyo Paralympics opening ceremony was announced on Tuesday (Aug. 17). The honor will be shared by runner Yam Kwok-fan and swimmer Hui Ka-chun.
Yam competed in Rio 2016 where she reached the finals in the women's 100m and 200m events. She went on to win bronze in the 200m at the 2018 Asian Para Games in Indonesia.
Hui is competing in his first Paralympics. He's ranked second in Asia in the men's 100m backstroke.
They're part of Hong Kong's delegation of 24 Paralympians in Tokyo.
