
Over 1.6 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in China as of Wednesday (July 28), the National Health Commission said Thursday.
China reported on Thursday 49 new COVID-19 cases, down from 86 a day earlier, amid an outbreak of the highly contagious Delta variant in the eastern city of Nanjing. Of the new infections, 24 were locally transmitted.
