HK.edu Handbook | Jockey Club Man Kwan EduYoung College: All are educable, with students’ talents fully developed

As a Whole-day Subsidy Grammar School (Co-Ed), the Jockey Club Man Kwan EduYoung College (TJCEC) is partially sponsored by the Hong Kong Jockey Club. The school was founded in 1999, and provides excellent secondary education from Secondary 1 to Secondary 7.

Holding the motto of “All Are Educable”, TJCEC is dedicated to the education of the whole person in a belief that every child has his/her talent and the right to be educated. Under its unique school culture and harmonious learning environment, students here are able to fully develop their talents through various activities such as English musicals, which will be beneficial for their life-long learning.

“It is not necessary that everyone achieves excellent grades academically. Grades are only one element while character is the most important,” said Lui Chi-hong, Principal of TJCEC. “Through our patient guidance and the advice of different teachers, the self-confidence that students eventually build as they pursue their goals can easily drive them to continue striving hard towards their dreams.”
