Opinion | Alleged Human Rights Abuse in Xinjiang: A US self-scripted, self-directed and self-acted program

In July, two exiled Uighurs groups filed a petition and submitted to The Hague based International Criminal Court (ICC) what was described as a huge dossier of evidence accusing China of locking up more than a million Uighurs and other mostly Muslim minorities in re-education camps, and of forcibly sterilizing women. The exiled Uighurs were seeking an ICC investigation against China and its leadership on charges of genocide and crimes against humanity.

On Monday, the ICC prosecutor office said the ICC has no jurisdiction over the cases because the alleged acts happened inside China and China is not an ICC signatory, which means the only way ICC can obtain jurisdiction if the case were to be referred through the UN Security Council. The ICC further said they found "no basis to proceed" on separate accusations of enforced deportations, which the Uighur group had said occurred in Tajikistan and Cambodia, both of which are ICC signatories.

However, regardless of how west-controlled mainstream media attempts to build a bogus image for these exiled Uighurs groups to mislead people into believing they largely represented a majority of Uighurs, which they do not. The fact is the East Turkistan Government in-exile and the East Turkestan National Awakening Movement, the two exiled Uighurs groups involved are both not only founded and based in Washington D.C., but are both heavily funded, coordinated and supported by the US Government.

To make matters worse, the so-called huge dossier of evidence submitted to the ICC and many of the accusations on west-controlled mainstream media including the so-called reports which suggests more than half a million Uighurs in Xinjiang were forced to pick cotton that lead to the subsequent US sanctions and cotton import restrictions on suppliers controlled by the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC), all originated from the world-famous self-proclaimed China expert, Adrian Zenz.

Adrian Zenz was a PhD supervisor and researcher at the European School of Culture and Theology, a missionary school in Germany that is connected to Columbia International University, an evangelical Christian university in South Carolina. There is no available information on his education credentials on any credible sites in regards to his self-proclaimed expertise on China. Zenz most used credentials on this matter is his senior fellow at the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, a CIA related and US Government funded NGO in Washington D.C..

In addition Zenz's Uighurs and Xinjiang related studies and reports were all based on his personally biased anti-China and anti-communist assumptions supported by data leaks, reports and alleged personal statements provided by either NED or CIA funded and related organization such as the East Turkistan Government in-exile, the East Turkistan National Awakening Movement, World Uyghur Congress, Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP) - a UN Security Council listed terrorist organization since 2002...etc.

Therefore essentially we have a full cycle self-scripted, self-directed and self-acted program to accuse China of human right abuse against the Uighurs, which the US Government can use as political bargaining chip and as material to smear, to divert attention away from internal problems and more importantly to sanctions China in their attempts to contain its economical growth, operated by a group of organizations and/or personal who are funded through US regime changing organizations such as the NED, CIA or directly by the US Governments.

At the end of the day, the truth will speak for itself, as facts will prove Zenz's fabricated allegations are without any basis. Islam has been practiced in China for over 1400 years and historically there has always been respect between different religions in China, there is a thriving Hui's Muslim district the "Xi'an Muslim Quarter" in Xian one of the Chinese Four Great Ancient Capitals, which was one of the first city in China to be introduced to Islam, that can be traced back to the Tang dynasty and had existed for over a thousand years till today, if China wanted to obliterate Muslims, the district would have been long be removed.

What kind of genocide will allow the Uighurs population in Xinjiang to increased by 25.04 percent or more than 2.5 million in eight years between 2010 and 2018? China currently has a Muslim population of between 60–80 million people, spread between 10 officially recognized minority groups, the most prominent being the Hui (approx. 10 million) and the Uighurs (approx. 8 million). Why are the Uighurs the only ones causing a problem when they only account for about 13% of Muslim in China?

The answer is simple, the Uighurs are the only Muslim group in China with an Islamic extremist group with ties to the Al-Qaeda, the TIP formerly known as the ETIM which is funded and support by the the CIA and the Turkish Government, has been waging a Jihad with terrorist tactics with the aim of creating an Islamic state in Xinjiang and eventually turning the entire Central Asia into a Caliphate. China is only fighting terrorism by providing the region with better security together with re-education and job training programs steering people away from terrorism, evidence has proven the measures have been highly effective as there has not been any terrorist attack for the past few years.

Finally, the forced labor allegation that accused the Chinese government of forcing at least 570,000 ethnic minorities mostly Uighurs into cotton picking forced laborers in Xinjiang is once again another fabricated allegation to damage the Chinese economy. China is the world's 2nd largest cotton producer and the world's largest textile exporter, so the cotton China produces is usually directly fed to its textile industry. Whereas the US is the world's largest cotton exporter, therefore the US is set to directly gain from any damage or obstruction they cause to the Chinese cotton industry.

In Zenz's reports, he attempted to link factory provided point-to-point transportation together with the cotton industry's long history of forced labor, predominantly the west abusing labors and forced slavery on people from less developed countries. He further tries to give people who have no real knowledge about China and the Chinese manufacturing industry an impression that the factories are some kind of concentration camp by heavily emphasizing the facts that these laborers live and eat at the factories.

Nonetheless, Zenz's arguments have proven he has absolutely no idea what is happening in China and everything he has claimed was based on his own imagination and twisted logic. In China, internal migrant workers represent over 40 percent of the total urban population and due to the large inflow of people housing prices in urbanized areas have increased significantly over the years. Therefore lower-wage earners would not be able to afford accommodation and support the family back home if the employer didn't provide it. Thus employers can either provide accommodation and onsite dormitories will always be the most affordable option or expect workers to demand a huge pay rise which would greatly increase operational costs.

Hence, it is an industry norm in China for factories, farms and most low paying jobs to provide accommodations and food as part of the basic pay package, so this can never be considered an indicator of forced labor or concentration camp. In addition, point-to-point transportation from a gathering point to the workplace is considered a norm, it will always be cheaper for an employer to hire a few buses than to pay for the individual transportation costs for a couple of hundreds employees for regular size factories or a few thousands of employees for larger factories.

It is a sad fact the world can be driven to the point of throwing constant baseless accusations at China based on some fabricated conclusions engineered by a mass US-led misinformation campaign, but the world can be completely quiet when the same US threatened and than sanctioned ICC prosecutors who wanted to investigate US war crimes in Afghanistan, the very same ICC prosecutors they expected to investigate China. The western world has become full of brainwashed hypocrites.
