The world is face-to-face with three ugly truths: First, Israel has America in its hip pocket and America is Israel's Occupied Territory. Trump is in cahoots with a wanted war criminal to invade yet another country. The US, under Trump, has become a client state of Israel.
Second, Trump lies till he dies. He has promised no more wars, and yet in his first year, he has launched two wars of aggression in rapid succession.
Third, America has dismantled the global order. It obeys no laws. Laws are only for losers.
In 2003, America lied about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction as a cause for invading the country, only to come up empty-handed. This war costing a million lives was waged on a fabricated falsehood.
Likewise, the Iran war is being sold to Americans as a preemptive strike against likely attacks by Iranian missiles. The truth is that Iran is at least 10 years away from developing that capability. This Iran war is Iraq 2.0, as one senator puts it. Both wars are in flagrant violation of the UN Charter. Now you know why Trump wants to replace the UN with its own puppet agency.
But things are in flux. This time, even its allies refuse to be dragged into an unwanted war. Spain has banned the US from using its military base to launch attacks against Iran. This time, America has no allies, bar Israel.
America's success in surgically kidnapping Venezuela's president has emboldened Trump into believing in US invincibility everywhere. But Iran is not Venezuela. Iran is hardened by decades of hostilities and knows the art of war. Venezuela is a closed and virgin society when it comes to armed conflict. Trump has learned the wrong lesson.
People used to say that Trump, as a businessman, has no appetite for war, and that he is only into economic tit-for-tat. Now we know that Trump is the most trigger-happy president in American history who has turned his losing the Nobel Peace Prize into a hawkish urge for waging wars.
Trump's latest war is a distraction to save himself from mid-term electoral defeat. But American lives are being lost, and billions are being burned financing an unwanted and illegal war. With his approval ratings down to just 37%, Trump is letting Netanyahu drag him into a messy gamble to save his own skin.
The global order is in shambles. In reprisal for its refusal to let America use its military base, Trump has threatened to totally cut off trade with Spain. This time, the EU refuses to buckle under and will stand in solidarity with its member in defying mighty America.
No one will ever trust America again to conduct talks in good faith. It launched a sneak full-scale decapitation attack in the middle of on-going "promising" talks. There is no art of the deal. Only the art of over-kill.
The mid-terms will be messy. If Trump loses, he will incite Jan 6-like riots to prevent the loss of control over the legislative arm. He is hell-bent on stealing the election by fair means and foul.
We are eyewitnesses to the disintegration of an empire. This president has no idea of what he is going to do next. Its piffle-waffle leader governs by impulse and ignorance.
Trump the lunatic is finally convincing the world that China is the only adult in the room. Consumed in an orgy of violence in its own country, wherever America goes, death and destruction follow. This is the golden age of insanity---when lunatics are running the asylum.
The unintended consequences of US warmongering translate into welcome breaks for China from non-stop US hostility. With America trapped in the Ukraine and Iran quagmires, China is left to live in peace.
A messy Middle East and a war-torn Europe together buy Asia peace and stability. Without the Iran conflict, tensions over Taiwan might have boiled over.
It is a bitter irony of history that China has reaped the benefits of prosperity when America is preoccupied in other killing fields. While China fights for technological progress, America goes berserk in wars of perfidy. China is a beautiful oasis of peace on a burning planet. Winning by not fighting is Sun Tzu's ultimate victory.
