
Tesla (TSLA.US) launched an affordable version of the Model Y SUV and Model 3 on Tuesday (Oct. 7), priced at US$39,990 and US$36,990, respectively.

Following the announcement, Tesla's stock fell again by over 3%. According to the official website, the latest models are expected to have a range of 321 miles, which is about 10% lower than the higher-end versions; additionally, these models do not include a second-row touchscreen, and the number of speakers is less than half that of the premium versions.
