
A violent shooting erupted at the "Taste of the City Lounge" nightclub in Brooklyn early Sunday morning (Aug. 17), leaving three dead and nine injured in what authorities believe may have been gang-related violence.
The incident occurred around 3:30 am on Aug. 17 when a heated argument inside the establishment escalated into gunfire. Police recovered 36 shell casings at the scene, indicating multiple firearms were involved.
Among the victims, a 19-year-old male died at the scene, while two other men—ages 35 and 27—succumbed to their injuries at nearby hospitals. The wounded (five men and three women) are reported to be in stable condition.
This marks the second mass shooting in New York City within a month. As of press time, no suspects have been apprehended, and investigations remain ongoing.
