The third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) is currently being held in Beijing. As the world's first national-level exhibition themed around supply chains, this year's CISCE has further deepened its internationalization, with overseas exhibitors accounting for 35% of the total, 50% of whom are from Europe and the United States. The number of American exhibitors increased by 15% compared to the previous session, maintaining their position as the largest group of overseas exhibitors, while their exhibition area grew by 10%.

Apple is participating for the third time, bringing along multiple Chinese supply chain partners to showcase achievements in green intelligent manufacturing and renewable energy. Micron unveiled numerous new products, including the LPDDR5X and UFS 4.1, while Nvidia's debut booth became a hot spot, with its robot performance area drawing large crowds of onlookers.

Each year, Apple highlights different suppliers; this year, the three featured partners are Sunwoda, Shandong Innovation, and Justech, showcasing achievements in green intelligent manufacturing and renewable energy. At the booth, a magnetic levitation production line attracted significant attention. Developed independently by Sunwoda, Apple's core battery supplier, the line utilizes electromagnetic force to move magnets, enabling contactless operation through the intelligent control of current direction.

AI-simulated factory boosts production speed by 20%

Sunwoda's new-generation magnetic levitation production line has achieved 100% domestic production. "Compared to traditional belt and turntable systems, it improves conveying speed, positioning accuracy, and equipment reuse rates," a booth representative told Wen Wei Po.

In smart manufacturing, Sunwoda has integrated AI and digital twin technology, creating a 1:1 virtual factory simulation. Combined with real-time production data, this enables real-time monitoring, remote diagnostics, and adaptive optimization of the production process, resulting in a roughly 20% improvement in overall speed.

Justech's exhibition focused on high precision and automation in production, such as micro O-ring automatic assembly equipment, self-developed core components, and the APE robotic arm, which serves as an import substitute. Its 4-axis and 6-axis robotic arms are widely used in processes like dispensing, offering competitive pricing without compromising precision compared to imported products.

One of its booth staff members noted that the company, founded in 2006, specializes in customized automation solutions for complex manufacturing challenges. Its self-developed robot brand, APE, features 14 product lines, with an annual self-use volume of 1,200 units and sales of thousands to global system integrators. The company's business spans overseas clients, multinational corporations, and equipment supply for manufacturers, forming an integrated industry ecosystem combining production, education, research, and application.

Delivery robots deployed in unmanned pharmacies

A lively and agile lion-dance robot dog performed in the robot zone, drawing crowds of spectators. As one of the most popular booths at this year's CISCE, Nvidia showcased multiple robots, including Galaxy Universal's Galbot (G1), Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robots' Tiangong 2.0, Booster Robotics's T1, and AI² Robotics, making it a "must-visit" spot for attendees.

On-site, the Galbot (G1) robot skillfully picked up a drink from the shelf and handed it to a waiting visitor. Staff said that the robot uses Nvidia chips, began operations late last year, and has already been deployed in over a dozen unmanned pharmacies in Beijing, achieving over 99% accuracy in item retrieval. In the second half of this year, the robot is expected to be deployed in over 100 additional scenarios nationwide.

H20 unblocking eagerly anticipated by partners

Journalists of Wen Wei Po learned on-site that Nvidia did not exhibit the H20 chip or any standalone GPU products but presented them as part of software-hardware solutions, such as gaming laptops equipped with Nvidia GPUs. At this year's CISCE, Nvidia primarily collaborated with partners to showcase joint solutions, including applications in AI image generation and smart vehicle safety systems.

Ahead of the expo, Nvidia announced the resumption of H20 chip sales in China and the launch of a fully compatible RTX PRO GPU for the Chinese market. Nvidia founder Jensen Huang reiterated during the expo that U.S. officials had assured the company of swift action to"approve export licenses for the H20 AI chip. Domestic companies partnering with Nvidia noted that Nvidia chips hold significant potential in the Chinese market, and the unblocking of the H20 is highly anticipated.

Micron showcases two highlight memory products

Micron expanded its joint exhibitions with more industry chain partners compared to last year. Booth staff introduced two highlight products: the Micron LPDDR5X, the industry's first 1Y (gamma) process 16GB LPDDR5X, offering flagship smartphones cutting-edge energy efficiency and high-speed bandwidth to accelerate AI and data-intensive tasks. The other, Micron UFS 4.1, is the industry's first mobile UFS 4.1 based on G9 NAND, providing advanced and customized features for premium smartphones, with thinner packaging and larger capacity.

A Micron booth representative mentioned that the company has invested in China for over 20 years, deepening its presence in the storage sector to empower "Digital China." Micron remains committed to providing industry-leading memory and storage solutions to support customer innovation and success. In China, Micron is transforming its Xi'an facility into its global first "sustainability excellence center" for packaging and testing, strengthening sustainable ecosystem development to contribute to China's low-carbon economy and the global semiconductor green supply chain.
