MTR announced today (June 23) that the CAT/DOG CARRYING TRIAL SCHEME has received positive feedback and will be extended until the end of August.
Starting last month, the Light Rail introduced a two-month trial program allowing passengers to bring their cats and dogs on board during holidays. MTR stated that since the program's implementation, public response has generally been positive, and overall operations of the Light Rail have remained smooth. The company is currently reviewing the program and analyzing feedback collected during this period, hence the extension of the trial until the end of summer.
MTR indicated that from today, passengers can purchase the "Cat/Dog Carrying Pass" for July through the MTR mobile app.
