According to reports from Fox News, NASA, and other professional aerospace websites, the "Starship" rocket of Musk's Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX) malfunctioned and exploded during a static ignition test on the evening of June 18 local time, and the fire department has been dispatched.
Fox News said that the cause of the accident is currently under investigation. The authorities said that no casualties have been reported. As of press time, SpaceX has not yet responded to this.
The "Starship" rocket is about 120 meters long and about 9 meters in diameter. It consists of two parts. The first stage is a rocket booster about 70 meters long, and the second stage is the "Starship" spacecraft. Both stages are designed to be reusable. The rocket is designed to send people and cargo to Earth orbit, the moon, and even Mars.
