Arrival Card

As your plane descends, flight attendants often distribute Entry Arrival Cards, or you can find the cards before you go through the Chinese customs. In some airports, travelers can also use electronic kiosks to submit details digitally.

Foreigner Fingerprint Self-collection Area (Shanghai gov.)

Upon disembarking from the aircraft, international visitors should proceed to the Foreigner Fingerprint Self-collection Area as indicated by directional signage. At the biometric kiosk, travelers are required to first scan their passport information and then proceed with the biometric fingerprint scanning process. Upon successful verification, the system will dispense a printed confirmation note. It is essential to retain this document throughout the entry process. Having completed these preliminary formalities, passengers may then proceed to Chinese immigration clearance, after which they are officially cleared to commence their journey in China.
