According to CCTV News, a Mexican Navy tall ship carrying 200 people collided with the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City on the evening of May 17 local time, causing multiple people to fall overboard.
Fire officials and sources stated that search and rescue operations are underway.
Online videos showed that at the time of the incident, crowds of onlookers were present at the scene. After the collision, the ship's mast snapped.
