US President Donald Trump underwent his first annual medical check-up of his second presidential term last Friday (April 11). The White House released the results on Sunday, stating that Trump is in "excellent cognitive and physical health" and is "fully fit to execute the duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State."

According to the report, Trump underwent a comprehensive five-hour medical examination that included blood tests, cardiac assessments, and ultrasound scans. The results showed that his heart, lungs, nervous system, and overall bodily functions remain in excellent condition, attributed to his "active lifestyle."

The White House doctor noted minor health issues, including mild sunburn, benign skin conditions, and the need for medications to manage cholesterol and prevent heart disease. Trump also uses topical treatments for his skin. Additionally, a scar from a gunshot wound on his right ear—stemming from an attempted assassination in July last year—was reported but deemed non-problematic.

Despite these minor concerns, the physician emphasized that Trump's overall health is outstanding, affirming his capability to fulfill the duties of the presidency.

Trump, who will celebrate his 79th birthday in June 2025, is set to become the oldest US president to complete a term, turning 82 by the end of his second term.
