The Hong Kong Pop Culture Fest 2025, organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), officially opened today (April 4) at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Running throughout April, the festival includes over 20 activities spanning music, film, and literature.
One of the festival's highlights, "ImagineLand 2025," will be held this weekend (April 5-6) as a large-scale outdoor music carnival. The event will take place across multiple venues, including the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza, Central Lawn & Event Trellis, and Salisbury Garden. Admission is free, welcoming both local residents and visitors.
The two-day event is divided into daytime and evening programs:
- Daytime highlights: "Go Beyond Concert", "Comics Fun Experience Gallery", and "Funarts Corner"
- Evening Program: open-air "Movie Under the Stars" film screenings.
In addition to the music and film programs, the festival will feature a local comic-themed exhibition, showcasing iconic HK animation and comic works from different eras. Attendees can also participate in art and craft workshops, designed to offer a hands-on connection to HK's pop culture and its unique sense of humor and creativity.
