Today (March 26), the Hong Kong Housing Society launched two subsidized housing projects located at Anderson Road in Kwun Tong and Jockey Club Road in Fanling, providing more homeownership options for the public. The two projects offer a total of 1,604 units, with prices ranging from approximately HK$2.3 million to HK$6.36 million, about 30% below market value, aimed at providing cost-effective housing solutions.
For the application quota, the ratio for green and white form applicants is set at 60:40. A new priority arrangement has also been introduced for families with elderly members and newborns.
Regarding application eligibility, the criteria for these projects are similar to those for the scheme by the Housing Authority. Public housing tenants can apply using the green form, while non-public housing tenants can use the white form. For families of two or more, the monthly income limit is set at HK$60,000, with an asset limit of HK$1.23 million. For individual applicants, the monthly income limit is HK$30,000, with an asset limit of HK$615,000, ensuring that those in need can apply fairly.
