The iconic blue bird logo of Twitter, removed from the company's San Francisco headquarters after Elon Musk rebranded the platform as "X," has been sold for US$34,375 at an auction.
The auction, handled by RR Auction, a company specializing in rare collectibles, featured the massive 560-pound (254-kilogram) logo, measuring 12 feet by 9 feet (3.7 meters by 2.7 meters). The identity of the buyer was not disclosed.
This is not the first time Musk has auctioned off assets from the platform's previous era. Items sold in previous auctions ranged from memorabilia and branded items to everyday office equipment and kitchen appliances.
