
The 14th National People's Congress (NPC), China's national legislature, opened its third session on Wednesday morning at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
Chinese President Xi Jinping and other leaders attended the opening meeting.
Premier Li Qiang delivered a government work report at the meeting.
After the meeting concluded, as they were leaving, Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee and Macao Chief Executive Sam Hou-fai were approached by several National People's Congress representatives for photos. After a group photo, Sam invited Lee for a private photo together.
After that, Lee took a photo of Ho Iat Seng with others, and Sam returned the favor by taking a photo of John Lee.
Before leaving, both were again requested for photos by National People's Congress representatives from Hong Kong and Macao. After Lee took photos with representatives Stanley Ng, Brave Chan, and Frank Chan, he chatted for a moment before departing the venue.
