
The Hong Kong Observatory issued a special weather warning today (March 3) at noon, predicting that the weather near the Pearl River Estuary will become unstable close to midnight tonight.
Tomorrow (March 4), the first significant rainfall of the year is expected in Hong Kong, with thunderstorms in some areas.
The Observatory noted that a cold front located in central China is gradually moving south. Additionally, sudden rain and strong thunderstorms related to upper-level disturbances are affecting inland Guangdong. Citizens are reminded to pay attention to the latest weather reports before heading to work or school tomorrow morning.
