CLP Holdings announced its 2024 results today (Feb. 24), reporting revenue of approximately HK$90.964 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.35%.
Shareholders' attributable profit reached HK$11.742 billion, reflecting a substantial year-on-year growth of 76.44%. Earnings per share stood at HK$4.65, with a fourth interim dividend of HK$1.26 per share, bringing the total annual dividend to HK$3.15, up from HK$3.10 in the previous fiscal year.
The announcement noted that the group benefited from a robust overall business performance and significant improvements in EnergyAustralia's results. Operating profit, before accounting for fair value changes, increased by 8.1% to HK$10.949 billion. After including one-off comparable items, total profit rose to HK$11.742 billion.
As of the time of publication, CLP Holdings (00002) saw its shares rise by 3.57% to HK$66.75, with a trading volume of HK$291 million.
