According to reports from CCTV citing American media, on February 9, local time, U.S. President Trump claimed on "Air Force One" that he is committed to buying and owning the Gaza Strip, and possibly handing over parts of the area to Middle Eastern countries for reconstruction.
Trump believes that allowing Palestinians or those living in the Gaza Strip to return to the area is "a big mistake."
At the same time, Trump reiterated his suggestion for other Middle Eastern countries to resettle displaced Palestinians in "beautiful areas."
