Since its release during the Chinese New Year, "Nezha 2" has been on a roll at the box office, reaching a total of RMB 8.41 billion (including point-of-sale and pre-sale), moving up to 28th place on the global box office charts. The rise of "Nezha 2" has allowed the world to once again see the charisma of Nezha, one of the "top characters" in Chinese folklore.

In the corners of Hong Kong, there are also Nezha's figures hiding.

The Sam Tai Tze Temple was built in 1898 and is the only temple in Hong Kong where Nezha (also known as Sam Tai Tze) is the main deity.

It was said that in 1894, a terrible epidemic broke out in Sham Shui Po. The Hakka people brought the image of the patron deity Sam Tai Tze, from their native place in Huiyang to Sham Shui Po to help suppress the epidemic. They carried the image to parade in the district, and the epidemic subsided. The Hakka people attributed this to the divine power of Sam Tai Tze. The temple presently houses some artifacts of the late Qing Dynasty, such as bells and drums dating back to a hundred years ago. The Pak Tai Temple next to it was built by local fishermen in 1920.

Sam Tai Tze who is better known by his real name Nezha. He was the third son of a great general in the Chinese legend, Fengshen Yanyi (Creation of the Gods). After his death, Nezha's Taoist teacher reincarnated his spirit in a lotus flower and gave him a spear and a pair of flaming wheels for him to fly about. With these weapons, he helped the future emperor of Zhou Dynasty to overturn the Shang Dynasty. The Jade Emperor awarded him to be the chief commander of the 36 Celestial Generals of Heaven and guarded the door of Heaven ever after. He is known for his power to overcome demons and ghosts.

The Lo Pan Temple features four decorative ridges on its two main halls, all crafted by the renowned "Jun Yu Dian" from Shiwan, Foshan. The intricate work vividly depicts the beginning and climax of "Creation of the Gods".

Starting on the back of the second hall's central ridge is the tale of Jizhou Hou Suhu's rebellion against the Shang Dynasty and Ji Chang's strategy to rescue Da Ji. Next, on the front of the first hall's central ridge, the scene portrays Bi Gan recommending Jiang Ziya to build the Lu Tai and Jiang meeting King Zhou. Then, on the back of the first hall's central ridge, the depiction shows the epic battle between Wen Zhong and Xi Qi. Finally, the climax is on the front of the second hall's central ridge, illustrating King Wu of Zhou leading his troops in the rebellion against King Zhou.

When visiting the Lo Pan Temple, careful observation of the roof decorations may reveal the figure of Nezha, depicted with his feet on a pair of flaming wheels, holding a Universe Ring (Qiankun Quan), and wrapped in Red Armillary Sash (Hun Tian Ling).
