OMG | Dancing tradition and prayer: Bench Dragon

As its name suggests, the Bench Dragon is a movable dragon lantern constructed by linking individual benches together. Structurally, it consists of three parts: the dragon head, the dragon body (sub-lanterns), and the dragon tail. According to legend, the Bench Dragon originated during the Han Dynasty and evolved from the religious ritual of performing dragon dances to pray for rain. It is not only a captivating visual spectacle but also a symbol of people's aspirations for a better life and their reverence for nature.
